  • 6 small potatoes
  • butter
  • 2 large garlic cloves + 2 small garlic cloves
  • Swiss cheese
  • Milk
    1. Peel potatoes soak in water (6 small for more than 5 ppl)
    2. Butter the dish
    3. Cut garlic
    4. Cut potatoes and slic ch see
    5. Cut up Swiss cheese
    6. Put potatoes in pan (fill pan)
    7. 2 largish garlic clove, two smallish
    8. Some Swiss over potatoes
    9. 10 grinds pepper, cover in salt, mix
    10. Put rest of Swiss
    11. Put on stove
    12. Pour milk to point where you can see it.
    13. Wait until it bubbles
    14. Put in oven
    15. 350, about 30 mins (til looks nice)

    • 3 eggs, well beaten
    • 4 cups fresh bread, cubed
    • 2 cups sugar
    • 20 oz can crushed pineapple, undrained
    • 1 cup butter, cut into small pieces
    1. Beat eggs until creamy. Add other ingredients. Put into lightly greased pan and bake uncovered for one hour.

  • 2 lb package frozen hash browns
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
    1. Preheat oven to 350F.
    2. Break up potatoes (don’t thaw). Mix with onions. Mix sour cream, soup, and melted butter and stir in. Put in 9×13 casserole. Sprinkle cheese on top.
    3. Bake 60-75 minutes.
    4. Optional: Top with 1 cup crushed potatoes chips during the last 15 minutes of baking.

    • 1 head broccoli (1.5 lbs)
    • 8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
    • ½ cup raisins
    • 1 cup mayonnaise
    • 2 Tblsp cider vinegar
    • 1/4 cup sugar
    1. Trim and clean broccoli. Cut the florets and stems into bite-sized pieces. Add bacon and raisins. Combine remaining ingredients, stirring well. Add dressing to broccoli mixture and toss gently. Cover and refrigerate 2-3 hours.

    • 1 white potato, chopped
    • 1 red potato, chopped
    • 1 handful green beans, chopped
    • 1 handful wax beans, chopped
    • 1 carrot, chopped
    • 1 stalk celery, chopped
    • 1/4 c mayonnaise
    • 1 squirt dijon mustard
    1. Boil chopped potatoes for 8 minutes. Add beans and carrots and boil for another 2 minutes. Pour into a colandar and rinse with cold water (or put into ice water) to stop the cooking.
    2. Mix mustard into mayo. Stir into veggies, along with celery.

    • 2 cups dry macaroni (shells or elbows)
    • 1 3/4 c milk
    • 3 eggs
    • 12 oz ham, chopped
    • 1 1/2 c cheddar cheese, shredded
    • pepper
    1. Preheat oven to 350 and grease a 1.5 qt casserole.
    2. Cook macaroni and drain. Stir in chopped ham.
    3. Whisk together milk, eggs, pepper.
    4. Layer half of mac/ham mixture, half of cheese, other half mac/ham, remaining cheese in casserole. Pour milk/egg mixture over.
    5. Bake for 45-60 minutes until firm.

  • 1 lb small red potatoes
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
  • 2 teaspoons chopped garlic
    1. Preheat oven to 450F.
    2. Cut potatoes into wedges. Mix all other ingredients in a large bowl and then add potatoes and toss.
    3. Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with nonstick foil. Cook for 25-30 minutes turning once halfway through for best browning.
