Choc-au-lait Chocolate Chip Cookies

Very fudgy, chocolate cookie with white chips. Might work well with mint chips, too!

  • 1/2 c butter
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 c flour
  • 1/2 t baking soda
  • pinch salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 2 t vanilla
  • 2 c white chocolate chips
  1. Melt the butter and semi-sweet chips together over low heat, then cool slightly.
  2. Sift dry ingredients together.
  3. Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla lightly, and then stir in the melted butter/chocolate. Stir in flour mixture and blend thoroughly.
  4. Cool mixture in fridge, then stir in the white chocolate chips.
  5. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes at 350F.
