- 3 tablespoons flour
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/16 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 apple, sliced thinly
- cinnamon sugar
- Preheat oven and 8″ cast iron skillet to 400F.
- Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, milk and egg.
- Move the hot skillet to the stove.
- Put the 1 tablespoon butter in the hot skillet and let it melt.
- Layer the apples in the skillet, then pour egg mixture over. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
